Our vision

A new leapfrog
moment

A new leapfrog
moment

We envision an Africa where borders, be it physical, economic, or intellectual, do not limit the creative potential of the 900 Million young Africans.

In fact, an open, permissionless, and decentralized internet is the best platform to place Africans at the forefront of progress. We have unmatched scale, strong grit, and the context to build highly advanced economies with frontier technologies.

Borderless is a public goods initiative, building the blocks to make this vision a reality. It is founded by Yoseph Ayele, and supported by local and global communities.

our work

Building soil
for the infinite garden

We are catalyzing leaders to spearhead the transformation of African economies using frontier tech. Our current focus in on:

Founder education

Founder and community education on Web3 tools and values, research and applications, risks and trade offs, so they are better equipped when building the tools for a borderless Africa. We do this by building and nurturing founder communities.

Global bridges

Building bridges with global Web3 centers of gravity so African ecosystems have direct access to the best infrastructures to build with. This included hosting Vitalik in 4 African countries earlier in 2023, and now leading trips with key Layer 2s and protocols to the continent.
